No to juz wiem, co zamowimy u Chinczyka:)

A wiec Szczesliwego Nowego Roku! (Ja ide wyprowadzic walizke na spacer;)

***

In Bolivia, the New Year is celebrated with several interesting rituals carried out an midnight (or around that time):

  • some people in Bolivia wear yellow panties on December 31st, to have happiness in money or red panties, to be lucky in love. But that’s not all! Before New Year’s Eve party the panties must be worn backwards and after midnight one have to reverse it, in order to get lucky in new year!
  • if someone forget to buy colored panties (like I), can count some money at midnight.
  • people who want to travel next year need to pack a suitcase and take it for a short walk. It wouldn’t hurt to try, would it?
  • as in Spain and throughout South America, people also eat 12 grapes (for 12 months), saying a wish fr each of them.
  • and for New Year’s Eve dinner one should eat a pork dish, because it symbolizes prosperity! Well, I already know what we are going to order in Chinese restaurant :)

P.S. It’s also good to spill some champagne for Pachamama:)

So, eat some grapes, drink champagne, put on right colour panties, take a luggage for a walk or just do something, and enjoy New Year! Cheers!
