On Top *** Na dachu

***

It rains today all day long, but at last we don’t have to worry because from yesterday we have a new roof over the kitchen :) Builders have been working all week and have finally finished (in time for the big rain!). Getting the job done in Bolivia (or even starting one) is almost like a miracle, that’s why we were very lucky and happy that our plumber is a handy man and have a couple of friends who could work.

I went several times to the roof under the guise to document the progress of their work but in reality I wanted to take pictures of the builders carrying their job in a really risky way. For a brief moment I could feel like Lewis Hine photographing New York – with this difference that I was photographing Cochabamba:)
